For sale is a 1969 Omega Speedmaster ref. 145.022-69 with CHOCOLATE BROWN dial. The dial is an unequivocally even brown and in sunlight really stands out. A lot of my photos have a standard black 1969 Speedmaster in them as a color reference point. This is obviously not included. Serial 2911XXXX which is correct for dials that have turned brown, such as this. Nicely faded silvery-grey DON bezel with HF case ref. 145.022-69 Original hands have both darkened and have some lume loss but compliment the dial beautifully. Plots are all in tact and there is no notable dial damage. Any marks that you see are actually on the Omega Hesitate, which are creating a shadow effect on the dial. This is is not noticeable in dim light. The watch comes on a like-new Hodinkee brown calf strap. No bracelet or other accessories are included. Functioning without issues and keeping good time. It was cleaned up and regulated by a watchmaker last year, but I have no documentation. *I have a '69 1039/516 bracelet available, but it is not included in the asking price. Please let me know if interested when inquiring.* Asking $11,950 shipped via wire. Considering various trade offers, but please be realistic on value. Prefer Omega L.E.s or Rolex. Located in NYC for local inspection. Thanks for looking!
BUMP. This is back up for sale and same asking price as a year ago. Bracelet add-on no longer available.
