For sale is my lovely Navigator Timer from March 1968.

This was made by the Seiko Dani factory rather than the Suwa factory. Navigator Timers made by Suwa are reference 6117 8000 and the Dani versions are 6117 8009.

Although totally subjective, It’s widely known that watches made by the Dani factory often exhibit much nicer lume colour than watches made by Suwa. My 8009 has a very nice custard yellow lume whereas 8000s usually have green ish lume.

The Charcoal sunburst dial is stunning in the right light and I can’t see any flaws worth mentioning.

The case definitely has some dinks and scratches but the watch is in excellent vintage condition.

    37.7mm diameter; 11.8mm thickness, 19mm lug width

I purchased this watch from well known Seiko Watchmaker Guy Jeffrey around a year ago I think and it was serviced at the time. Needless to say it’s running perfectly with the crown operating exactly as it should. The bi directional friction bezel turns smoothly in both directions to adjust the time zone.

The watch comes with the original bracelet which is very rare. It definitely has some wear but is still perfectly wearable. The bracelet is sized for my 7in wrist and two additional links are included. The watch looks ace on a variety of straps.

I’d like £1000 including shipping in the UK please. Outside of the UK, we can discuss but I’m sure it won’t be expensive.

    Thanks.
