Very nice and honest 'transitional' 136.00011 for sale - this is a model completely identical to the Seamaster 600 but where Omega end 1960s also delivered examples with only "Genève" on the dial. There are examples of this ref. with Seamaster 600 or Genève, or even both. Everything is original, except for the crystal (details below). I bought this watch from a lady that inherited it from her uncle. The watch was fully serviced just prior to the sale to me, the receipt is included in the sale. Service was done 17/09/2020 so there is still some guarantee on the performed work. As said, the watch is sold in a complete package with the brown vintage side-stitch leather strap, and an original correct buckle.
Case, caseback, crown and glass
Full stainless steel case, unpolished and sharp. Slight scratches here and there. The crown is original and signed. The crystal is not original, as it does not have the Omega logo engraved, yet the original crystal is delivered along in the sale (got swapped out during the service). These crystals are also still in stock with CousinsUK. The case measures approx 35mm crown excluded. The screw caseback engraving is still nicely visible. The lugsize is 18mm.
Dial and hands
The white/grey dial is in very good condition. Nicely intact and yellowed tritium plots. The hands are original, including yellowed tritium (all UV verified) - the lume in the hands has become a bit 'uneven'.
Calibre and service
The Omega inhouse cal. 613 is working nicely. The watch is just back from full service (17/09/2020) and is squeaky clean. It runs very very well, at less than 10 seconds per day deviation. The date quickset works perfectly, by pulling the crown to position 2. Very handy.
Strap and buckle
The watch is sold on the vintage brown side-stitch leather strap from the last pictures, and with a correct and original Omega buckle. I don't need to stress that these buckles alone trade at 100 euro these days. For fixoflex lovers, I can include the fixoflex on which I bought the watch as well (see pics).
Returns are of course allowed if I misrepresented the watch or the condition.
