Greetings community! I have the opportunity to buy the following vintage omega speedmaster from 1966 (pre-moon!) So I really wanted the opinion on the watch of some of you guys and if ~6k is a fair price for it. Here are some photos is the case/dial/movement.

Can you post pics of the dial that aren't blurry? I wouldn't recommend buying any watch with pics this blurry.

Agree much better pics needed but it doesn’t feel right.

The hands have certainly been changed and although some people say they’re correct, I don’t personally think a narrow T dial is correct on a CB cased-66.

Thanks a lot guys, I'll ask for better pics of the dial. Will post them as soon as I got them.

It feels like a redial or aftermarket dial to me.

6k what? Anyway, based on those photos I have no idea whether the watch is attractive.

    Something seems wrong…
The hands look weird, bad pictures…

And those papers certainly didn’t come with the watch so don’t add any value.

Pics taken back in October. Might want to see some current ones.

Narrow T dial is correct on 105.012-66 CB.
1967 was the phase-in year for the Wide T dial, and you see both dials used on watches produced during that time.
You see many more Wide T dials on watches that were produced from mid September 1967 onwards.
The latest 105.012-66 CB that I have in my archives with a Narrow T dial was produced on October 27 1967.
All of the other ones that I have in my archives with a later production date show the Wide T dial only.

I know that’s the generally accepted wisdom and my sample size is undoubtedly smaller.
However, from my perspective, most of the narrow T dials I see on -66 CB’s have other issues (such as the watch in this thread) so I always treat them with suspicion.
