·For sale is a 1966 Seamaster 166.010 with a 565 movement. The watch was last serviced in January 2019 at Ayase Opt in Tokyo. NEW: Sale now includes beads of rice (BOR) bracelet.
As is evident from the dial photos, the face has developed an even pebbling, which never bothered me. I bought the watch on impulse because I found myself with a BOR bracelet that didn’t go with any watches I had. I figured I’d pair it with this 166.010 and then sell it, but what happened was I became a huge fan of this style of watch. They just look impeccable on your wrist. It’s a timeless design and if I didn’t happen to buy another one on yet another impulse (and then, unrelatedly, having to replace my work computer) I would not be selling this one.
The watch will be delivered with this spiffy and almost unworn leather strap with an Omega buckle + 1036 BOR bracelet.
I am asking $905 (EDIT: Now $750) + shipping from Tokyo for the watch and strap and BOR bracelet. Please examine the photos carefully and ask me for more if some corner of the watch is not sufficiently documented. No returns unless grossly misrepresented.
