Both 561 and 564 cal in gold 168.005 per Desmond’s reference chart see below.

The watch you asked about has 23 mil SN with 561 cal. Which dates to 1966.

I think you need SN of specific watch to get date idea, rather than just dial config and ref.

But I would say 564 cal in such a watch would be possible as 564 may have been introduced as early as 1965 and my understanding is there was lot of overlap between 561/564 in 1966.

Here’s a 1966 SS watch with 564.

Welcome @Omegawes

Omega was transitioning from 561 to 564 in all of its Constellation references around 1966/67 (not just the doglegs).

As @SOG53 says, a 23m could easily have a 564 movt (in fact it looks like 23,8m so could even be a ‘67 watch)

The case material won’t affect the movt used ( 561/564) so if you found a gold capped watch like the one you linked to, with a 564 and even that serial, it should raise no concerns.

Thanks for the help. The serial number begins 2431, which I believe places the movement around 1967, and I wasn't sure if they still made that particular crosshair dial (non pie-pan) back then on the 168.005 dogleg.
