·Looking for a 1965 Orange bowl omega watch given to players and staff of the teams that played in the 1965 Orange bowl game. It's similar to the 1966 Orange bowl omega attached. Would appreciate any leads. Thanks.

·set up an ebay search, and a watchrecon alert, ones from various bowl games pop up from time to time. It may take awhile to find the exact one you are looking for so patience is required.

I do not see any 1965 OB watches online. But I’m not done yet. However, from your screen name, you might be more interested in the 1964 game, as Auburn was in it.

·Don’t overpay. How many members on a team that gets one. Does the opposing team also get them from their side. Double the number each each bowl and same for each year. A Google search would probably bring up a number of them

I had to look up where this game was played, as I knew that other 1942 bowl games in the Western US (Rose Bowl) had to be moved due to fear of Japanese aerial attacks. After all, this was less than a month after Pearl Harbor.

·Does anyone know how long Omegas were presented at the Orange Bowl? Looks like 1965, 1966, 1967. I have not seen any 1968 or 1969 watches, Omega or otherwise. 1970 started a string of presentation Accutrons. I have a 1969 Orange Bowl program but no advertisement or mention of the presentation watch.

·They do exist! I have only seen one and looking for one myself. It is on display at the Mal Moore Athletic Building at the University of Alabama
