Looking for a 1965 Orange bowl omega watch given to players and staff of the teams that played in the 1965 Orange bowl game. It's similar to the 1966 Orange bowl omega attached. Would appreciate any leads. Thanks.

set up an ebay search, and a watchrecon alert, ones from various bowl games pop up from time to time. It may take awhile to find the exact one you are looking for so patience is required.
Good luck with the hunt, hope it proves successful.

Don’t overpay. How many members on a team that gets one. Does the opposing team also get them from their side. Double the number each each bowl and same for each year. A Google search would probably bring up a number of them

Hi- that was a Texas-Alabama game. I collect Longhorn bowl game watches, and am also looking for that one. Are you a Texas or Alabama collector (I notice your name implies Auburn University?)

Here is a rare one - 1942 Cotton Bowl Elgin

How many bowl watches do you have now? You got a cotton bowl Tudor from me years ago….very glad to see you’re still at it!

I was feeling good last year, with 50 of the (estimated) 59 bowl and championship game watches possible (not every bowl and CG awarded a watch). Now, after last season’s run, I need 62 (no SEC Cg watch, but there is a players-only Axia time CFP watch, a Peach Bowl watch and I assume a Cotton Bowl watch), and I am on a long dry spell (which has me doing things like buying a ‘42 CB watch despite Texas not playing in it, lol).

I’m still loving the ‘71 CB watch you sold me! Thx!

Does anyone know how long Omegas were presented at the Orange Bowl? Looks like 1965, 1966, 1967. I have not seen any 1968 or 1969 watches, Omega or otherwise. 1970 started a string of presentation Accutrons. I have a 1969 Orange Bowl program but no advertisement or mention of the presentation watch.

They do exist! I have only seen one and looking for one myself. It is on display at the Mal Moore Athletic Building at the University of Alabama
