Up for grabs is an Omega Speedmaster Pre-Moon Straight Lug

105.003-64 reference, so called "Ed White" Speedmaster

228244XX serial number circa 1964 production

Excellent vintage condition case without any major dings or dents. No corrosion. Nicely defined lugs.

Dial is original, step with applied logo. Some tool marks on subdials probably from past services. The dial is turning brown around some of the plots as seen in pictures. The hands are period correct service replacement.

Bezel is original DON in very good condition.

Caseback is original, with clear and crisp Hippocampus engraving. Stamped 105.003-64 inside.

Original owner's name is engraved on caseback and also his initials on clasp of original bracelet.

Original skinny logo crown.

Hesalite crystal has been replaced before going up for sale, but original Omega part with logo in center.

Bracelet is an Omega 7912 semi-stretchable flat link with correct "6" end-pieces and '65 date code on clasp. Appears to be fully linked.

No box or papers. No documented service history. The chrono runs, stops and resets.
