Just a question...

Why do you suppose it is from 1964? The Omega page says it was manufactured between 1967 and 1972. Did you have other source? (Real interest)

The shop owner adv it as a 64, he seems an expert because he deals in vintage mostly Omega watches, but ofcorse he could be wrong, if its from 1967 i would be more happy because its my date of birth.

You made my day, I thought I was the only one who appreciate having a watch of the same year which I was born.
Well then ... I hope yours be 67. 👍

Mmm I see why your seller says it's 1964. The serial number, it seems, is from that year ...

Well, let's see what the experts in this forum say.

161.022 is on the inside of the back case, Nice to see the catalog, thanks. Could it be they used a older year movement to make the watch in 1967. Thanks for the infos grt Peter

Yes, it is quite possible the movement sat in inventory for a number of years before being used. These 7xx ultra thin automatic movements were not used as prolifically as the ubiquitous 5xx series movements.

Why's that? Sorry if this is a stupid question, but that's better than remaining in ignorance...
