1964 Constellation with a few onyx hour markers missing. Help.

I recently purchased this Constellation and only noticed after it arrived that a few of the black hour markers are missing. They don’t appear to be painted on, as the markers seem three-dimensional. Are these markers easy to find and replace? What would the cost be? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

I don't know if some one could replace those onyx bars but I think you should not invest much on that dial. The cheapest solution is to paint the markers. The best solution is to find an original one. The star on your dial is upside down btw

I hadn’t even noticed the upside-down star—thank you for pointing that out. Do you believe this could be a fake? I’m still within the return window with the seller. I thought I got a great deal, but it seems there might be a reason for the lower price I paid.

Did the seller indicate if the dial had been re-painted or not?

I'd also suggest a return. That way you can start over and invest in something good.

The dial is a large proportion of the value of a watch and with the poor repaint and missing inlays, that dial is toast. Return it.
