As part of my collection downsizing I am offering an acquisition from fellow forum member @ConElPueblo from a little while back. Their previous sales post is here.
Case Size: 36mm
Lug Width: 18~mm
The Certina DS has seen light use and additions during my time on the wrist. It has received a few more case and crystal swirls, though overall the watch still presents very nicely. The dial has seemingly patinated a bit more, though the sunburst and blue hands keep it looking good.
I swapped out the generic crown for a correctly signed one, as well as adding a genuine vintage red Certina leather strap and stainless steel buckle. This strap fits perfectly into the larger-than-18mm lugs.
It has not been serviced in my possession, though has been running quite well and was given a checkover by my watchmaker, a former Certina employee. Automatic and manual winding work smoothly and the watch wears very nicely on a 6.5" (17cm) wrist.
As I hope this will go to a fellow enthusiast, and to respect Troel's wishes, I am pricing this watch at the original value plus the costs of the crown, band and buckle. My asking price is $375AUD including tracked shipping from Australia.
