14779574186222007304934.jpg I recently had a Omega watch passed down to me from my grandfather who recently passed. I have always had a fascination for quality watches and honestly didn't know what I had until I did a little research. The watch has I'm assuming an aftermarket elastic metal speidel band. The time piece has 14k gold filled on the backside. The watch has what looks like to me dirt and dust up under the glass. I was actually visiting local jewelers today and they referred me to another man who I haven't visited. While visiting and showing the watch the crystal actually popped out, it was turning in place. I just wanted to get an idea of how much typically it would cost to get a new crystal and maybe a second-hand since I think I see tarnish on the hand as well. Any help or suggestions would be great Thanks!!

What you need is a bezel that holds the crystal in place.

The best option may be to source a donor watch (one with a shitty dial, poor condition, cheap) with a decent bezel.
