My first restoral! It's about a second slow, I'll let it go for a day or two, this is my first so be gentle! I use original parts and I'm super excited about it! Thoughts!?!

If you serviced it yourself and it’s performing that well it’s a pretty good effort, I struggled to get simpler calibres back together at all, enjoy it mate 👍

Strangest thing, the hour hand is moving so fast! Gonna take off the crystal and adjust, so odd! It went from 12 to 1 in 30 min.

I can barely change a crystal so fair play for having a go. That said, the amplitude is way low for a serviced watch.

I've tried to get better amp, but everyone I do error rate or seconds also increase. It's not perfect and I'm positive I need to learn more and do more, but it's ALMOST wearable.

I bought mine off AE, it also says Weishi. They probably all come from the same factory.

Ok. So I'm gaining about 3 or 4 min per hour. That's way too fast. I'll slow it down and see how that goes. But yea, progress!

Not a watchmaker or anything but are you sure it's not magnetized? Also great first effort. I hope to learn to do this too one day.

maybe try cleaning the balance again , if there is some oil on the hairspring it could cause a similar result as a magnetised watch .

Good idea. I'll try when I'm back from my trip. Thank you!
