I bought this watch off a market stall in the 1980s for about £20. The crown may not be original and the dial has been cleaned and restored. I believe that it dates to c.1967 and is manual not automatic. What intrigues me, however, is the design of the face, the combination of the crosshairs and the concentric rings creating a kind of really cool radar screen effect. In all these years, I haven't come across another like it. Any thoughts?

Sorry, I can't contribute much apart from, it looks very cool. Not bad for £20!

This style would not have originally had the cross-hairs.

You've never come across another because it's not the factory paint. The dial has been refinished. The fonts are the tip-off.
