Hi All,

For your consideration is a beautiful Girard Perregaux Gyromatic. The overall case is clean with sharp beveled lugs with the exception of the lower right lug. There are two long scratches that are visible in the photos below. The serial number is clearly visible between the lower lugs but hard to show in picture. The watch is just shy of 36mm without crown, a very wearable size. The black matte dial is in great condition with lovely patinated lume plots on either side of the 12, 3, 6 and 9 index. It looks very balanced without the date. The hour hand is missing some lume but otherwise the hands are in good condition. The crown is unsigned and most likely a replacement but tone wise, it matches the mid band of the case.

As I have never seen this model from Girard Perragaux before, I have reached out to their museum and found out the following: “...GP 31-29 movement, based on an AS 1649 ebauche, has been produced especially for the UK, from 1964 to 1965. This reference has been produced in a series of 700 pieces, all in steel.” It is an unusual model from a great brand but I just don’t wear it enough to justify keeping. Service history is unknown but the watch is currently keeping time.

I am letting it go for $800( net to me) watch head only. Shipping will be provided by me in CONUS. International buyer will be paying for shipping of choice.

Please also consider the pictures as part of the description for this sale and PM me any questions you may have regarding the watch. All sales are final unless item is not as described in this posting. Thank you for looking and OF for this space!
