    Gentlemen,

I am looking to buy my first vintage watch to go with my rose gold (4N) wedding ring and quickly found this model:

It looks like a nice 1960s Omega Seamaster, but the standout characteristic for me is that this one is 18k solid rose gold !

I don't really care if the bracelet isn't original, but the crown looks like it's yellow gold and that intrigues me. All other markings and details seem to be legit, what do you think?

Thanks a lot and kind regards from Switzerland!

Looks really nice. Do you mind me asking approx what price you will have to pay to buy. Thanks.

The guys asks for over CHF 2k, but I'd not offer him that much.

In addition to the crown, I'm also a little surprised by the luminous hands with the non-luminous dial.

IMHO, It looks like an early, 1961 Seamaster De Ville. Reference 14905.
    The crown is wrong.
The hand / dial combo raises questions.

Definitely an incorrect crown (not only the color), and ludicrously overpriced. There are many other fish in the sea...

Gentlemen and ladies... just putting that out there

Sincere good luck in your search. I prefer the look on non-date watches. Another one will come along. Rose gold is killer on these seamasters

I cannot believe the amount of information that I keep learning in post like this one. Plus I’m starting to develop an eye for vintage. Hahahahaha! No expert here
