    Hey guys,

I'm considering purchasing this watch from a guy on Reddit Watch Exchange. He has it listed at $450 and claims it was serviced by the previous owner, but has no proof. He says the crystal and crown have been replaced.

I've owned and sold a 1972 cal 710. and I know that proof of service history matters a lot. I'm not quite sure as to how much the crystal and crown being replaced matters.

My main question is this. Is the $450 valuation fair? I never want to be insulting when dealing with someone, but my gut is that it seems a little high.

Any help in figuring out if the price is fair would be great.

Thanks in advance. (and if this is the wrong place for this post, let me know and I'll get it right).

    Linen dial caliber 268.

Gold plated. Model number is inside the caseback.

You can search eBay past sales for a price.

Dials real and imho not a redial but has damage from the seconds hand rubbing on the dial. And as noted the wrong crown.

    Avoid.

Plating gone from lugs... Destroys all collect- and desirability.
