Hi all,
since something else has caught my eye, I decided to part with my vintage rose golden Omega chronograph reference OT 2872-62, with a caliber 320 inside. Serial number 1776xxxx fits the range and dates the watch back to 1960.

I bought this watch locally earlier this year from a fellow collector and very sparingly worn since then.
Everything is original but the glass and I think this watch has had a sweet life, because it is really in great shape for its age.

35mm excluded crown rose 18kt gold case is heavy and really in very good conditions, with factory finishing still there, as well as gold hallmark. Due to its long 20mm lugs, it sits really nicely on the wrist.

Vertically brushed original dial is in very good conditions, with just a couple of freckles, unlike almost all the others that pop up for sale, usually patinated.
The applied multi faceted coffin-style golden hour indexes give to the watch a unique charm especially when the dial is hit by sunlight: it shines beautifully!
Original crown and golden alpha hands set, generic glass, all in very nice conditions.

Venerable 320 hand wound caliber was fully serviced by a reputable watchmaker in Rome one year ago, and works nicely, with chrono functions operating as they should. A receipt from the service is provided. Manual winding is very smooth and precise.

Watch comes on the high quality italian leather strap with much life left shown in pics, with an original Omega rose gold plated buckle and an original Omega box from the same era.

Please ask me via pm for any doubt about the watch. I will reply as fast as possible.

Watch and me are located in Rome, Italy. Given conditions and service I'm asking 3500 euros shipped and ensured everywhere within EU. Overseas transactions are welcome with shipping costs and modality to be decided with buyer.
Payment via bank wire strongly preferred, a face to face in Rome is possible.

I have some good feedbacks so far on OF at the following links both as buyer and seller, but plenty of references from other international fora and ebay can be provided if needed:

Before posting some pics, thanks a lot OF for the opportunity and thanks you all for looking.
Alessandro

Congratulations on the sale

- and even more congratulations to the buyer.

You won’t be disappointed with the watch - they are ‘petite’ on the wrist compared to a modern chronograph but oh so beautiful to look at.
( and I think the price was really quite keen too)
