Well first off the overall look, then the Swiss Made spacing, the dial finish, the missing "Calendar" text on the lower dial and the general look, letter type and spacing of the upper text....

what is the tell?

It looks absolutely horrible. Markers look off, text font wrong. Too clean a dial compared with the rest of the watch. Also, I'd say that a dome dial Constellation ought to have the minute markers at the outer perimeter of the dial...

Yup, I ran out of ink wink.png I think the re-dialer did it maybe to compensate for the short hands?

Thanks all. Trying to get a sense of what to look out for on Constellations - Realized my budget is bigger now 😁

In my defense... These pictures obscure the watch quite a lot. I hate pictures with bad lighting or off-centered dial pics. But ya, I'm also learning and I won't learn if I don't ask! Thanks for taking the time, guys!

Well, since you asked what the "tell" was... There you go. True in 90% of the cases.

Slightly different reference here, but notice the sharp bevel on the bezel and the crispness of the lugs.
