1959 Dennison Omega

Here is my 1949 9K Dennison cased Omega (rhs in pic below). As noted above the case has a Dennison serial but being pre 53 no Omega triangle. 260 movement with 11.52m serial.

I find this information about Dennison cases not being stamped Omega until 1953 very interesting indeed. Could it be assumed then that other makers cases weren’t being stamped for/required to be stamped by Omega prior to 1953 too ?

Not sure I am afraid, my experience of local cases is limited to Dennison and Shackman which are both from the UK, others may differ. Some US local cases have no Omega markings later than 1953 I believe.

It is very interesting that the 13322 cases were only marked with the Omega logo post 1953, thanks Padders. I have observed that the Longines 13322 cases in the UK were only marked Baume, who were the UK Longines main agent, post 1950, before that only the Dennison marks were inside the case backs.
