Anyone hazard a guess at and estimated value for this rare bird? Believe earliest 1601 I have seen yet.
Dial applied batons and crown are also pink gold.

Surely a later dial and date wheel?
Should be Swiss made, dagger hour markers and a roulette date wheel imo.

There are 1960 1601 with same configuration. 1958 is a very early 1601. Can you show me a 1601 with your configuration?

Hard to say without serial number..

I think it's possible to have sword hands with a t swiss t dial. Sort of "transitional" period.

There are 1960 1601 with same configuration. 1958 is a very early 1601. Can you show me a 1601 with your configuration?

Not a 1601 but a 1958, 1959 and 1960 watches both SWISS, all dagger type indices, date is red/black.
What I would expect to see personally.
Much nicer too.
All imo of course.

Thanks, you are probably right. I have to go to the bank and recheck the serial number. I honestly haven't written it down anywhere so it could be a later Datejust that I thought. Personally, I like the herringbone dial the most. I have a waffle dial as well.

I personally love the black pink gilt gloss DateJust dial. I have not seen others like it.
