Hi Everyone, after 4 years on the forum, I just sold my first accessory and now have summoned the courage to offer up my first watch for sale to my learned colleagues, here on the forum. I purchased this locally, in Canada 4 years ago and I had it serviced shortly afterwards. It was certainly no drawer find, and proudly displays the scars earned from decades of use and abuse. It keeps good time and although small by today's standards, it goes very well with a suit, or formal attire. I like smaller watches from the 1940's-50's but having accumulated several that are nicer, this one no longer sees much wrist time. It is a very good size for women, but my wife and daughters already have more old watches than they really need. Case - 10k gold filled, 27.5mm square and 37.5mm lug to lug. There is some wear as evident in the photos. The lug size was originally 17mm but someone before me in their infinite wisdom, adjusted them to accommodate an 18mm strap, which actually suits the watch better. I asked my watchmaker if he could reset them back to 17mm and he wisely convinced me to "leave well enough alone." Crown and Crystal - replacements Movement - reasonably clean 302 (circa 1958 according to the serial number chart). It was serviced 4 years ago by my watchmaker but there is no documentation. The watch functions properly and keeps reasonable time but has not been checked on a timegrapher. I wear it for a couple of days every few months just to show it some love. Dial and hands - original, as far as I can tell. They show wear and tear commensurate with age. This watch is sold head only for $300 ($350) USD plus shipping (from Canada).
