Longines Flagship in stainless steel with cal. 30LS (center second)
at a glance
Flagship ref. 104-8
- serial no. 106xxxx dates back to ca. 1957
- cal. 30LS, in house movement with gold chatons and centre second complication
- original dial with stainless steel markers and hands
- Stainless steel waterproof screw down case (35 mm without crown)
- original crown
- watch head only
the dial
The original dial of this Flagship is in very good condition with only minor signs of age. One of the cleanest I have ever seen on an all-steel flagship.
the case
Very sharp and unpolished case. No dings, dents or heavy scratches. All facets, edges and chamfers present and in great shape. The etched flagship is still nicely visible on the case back.
the movement
Clean Longines in-house automatic caliber ref. 30LS beautifully finished. Very clean, and barely showing any marks from tools or wear. 30LS Flagships are less common than the sub second ones by the way. The watch winds and sets very smooth and the movement is running strong, I have no known service history though.
the strap
The flagship comes without strap (head only).
the price
I am asking 579 EUR OBO (or the equivalent in USD) to me for this iconic Flagship.
the fine print
Bankwire is preferred, normal paypal please add 4% (in case of paypal please send in Euros).
The watch and I are located in Germany. I will be happy to work out the best shipping option with you. Signed and insured EMS shipping for this watch to anywhere in the world is 20 Euros.
Please have a look at the pictures and feel free to answer to this thread or PM me directly if you have any questions. No returns unless condition of the watch is grossly misrepresented.
I have references here on OF, on German watch forums and a lot of positive feedback on ebay.
