I am selling this nice 68-year-old Seamaster.
Specifications:
Model / reference: Omega Seamster ref. 2846
Case material: stainless steel
Movement: Calibre 500; the serial number dates the watch to approx. 1956. The watch was serviced in December 2024.
Dial: Original crosshair dial, no lume.
Crown: Original signed clover crown.
Crystal: generic, unsigned
Measurements: 34mm in diameter without crown, lug size 18mm.
Condition of the watch:
Dial: The watch features a nice cross-hair dial in very good condition, a very clean and minimalist design with no lume on both hands and dial.
Case: The case is in an honest condition with the original facets on the lugs still visible, but must have been polished in the past.
Movement: Omega Cal. 500 with the serial number dated the watch to 1956. The movement was freshly serviced by my watchmaker in Dec 2024; now it runs well and it looks good.
Crown: Original signed clover crown; the clover crown is the correct type for this reference, but it was a replacement/serviced crown; period correct crowns are ones with a flat feet logo.
Aftermarket straps and buckle.
