Good day all. Up for sale is a very special watch. If you want something unique, very collectible, and also very seldom available - then you'll want to look at this particular Seamaster 2657 because it is very beautiful and very difficult to find. This stainless Seamaster 2657 has a 36mm case, dauphine hands, rose gold furniture and a stunning two-tone hobnail dial. The case appears to be unpolished, has drilled lugs, and the correct Omega crown. The 1953 caliber 344 bumper was completely serviced from my watchmaker on 6/20/2024. All worn parts were replaced and the service paperwork will be included with the sale.

The Details

Omega Seamaster
Reference: 2657-7
Movement: Caliber 344 bumper
Serial: 13669371
Year: 1953
Case: 36mm, stainless steel
Dial: Original two-tone hobnail dial
Strap: Brown suede with quick release spring bars (Artisan from Australia)

Accessories

The watch will include a generic box and the service and testing paperworks.

About Me

I'm an avid collector of vintage Omega and I've got a soft spot for JLC as well. I've been a very active member of Omega Forums since 2018 and I'm one of the organizers of the annual Omega Forums Mid-Atlantic G2G (now going into its 5th year!). While I'm generally more of a buyer than a seller, my past buyers have been very satisfied with our transactions:

I have also sold watches and watch related accessories on eBay under the username gbesq with 100% positive feedback for more than 20 years and I can provide references from my buyers on Chrono24 as well. I value my reputation and what you see on my listings is what you get. If you're unhappy for any reason, I'll make it right.

To my knowledge, there are only three vintage Seamasters with hobnails dials that are currently for sale. My 2657 is in beautiful condition, recently serviced with the watchmaker鈥檚 paperwork, and asking $1,950 including shipping and insurance. The other two Seamasters are asking $2,898 and more than $3,300. The only reason that my 2657 is for sale is because I have two other hobnail鈥檚 that I鈥檓 keeping.

Bump! A vintage Seamaster with a hobnail dial is rare. A really nice one that is also recently serviced is very rare. Get it before it's gone.

I know it鈥檚 bad form to post criticism in a sales thread. I鈥檒l do so anyway:

Greg is a bad photographer.

There, I said it. 馃榿

I鈥榤 the previous owner. I know how it looks in person, and it鈥檚 a stunner - so much nicer than it鈥檚 depicted here. The price is great, too.

I鈥檒l give it a week. If it鈥檚 not gone by then @gbesq I鈥榣l buy it back from you at your 1950$ asking. Seriously.

LOL. Geez, and these guys are some of my friends! Well, it's all true. Unfortunately, I can't say that my stroke had anything to do with my poor singing and/or terrible photography. Fortunately, MtV and Duracuir! have come to my aid. They know that I'm offering a stunningly beautiful Seamaster 2657 (just ignore my photos) at a very attractive price. I'm a trusted seller on OF and you won't be disappointed. I sell only the best. If you're not happy, you can return the watch to me and I'll return your money. No questions asked.

I've also seen it in person when it was still MtV's. Stunning watch at very fair price.

Thanks for this. I still have it listed for sale, but I will probably withdraw it since the current market is so slow.
