Ranfft says the 17 jewel 266 movement is anti magnetic but says nothing about antishock or incabloc. How careful does the wearer need to be with the 266 movement in a1952 watch?

My mate is going to wear it as judiciously as possible but he is going to wear it a couple of times a week and doesn't mind to baby stuff.

The seller often has very nice quality 2nd War Omegas which he services.

He said indices and hands are original.

I have had watches with no shock protection for decades and never had an issue. As long as you don't drop it from a significant height onto a hard floor, you'll be fine.

Maybe don't wear it while using a jackhammer....

266 has incabloc shock protection.

As to wear, just treat it like Gremlins, never get wet and never feed after midnight.

Incabloc! That's a relief! Cheers.

Some better pics finally came. First movement pic posted above was just taken from the internet which I hadn't understood.

2937-x (pretty sure on that), case has seen a bit of polish FYI. Dial looks good. As to the 266 movement, if it’s been recently serviced I wouldn’t worry about wearing it daily. Also the price for the watch you linked above is waaay high.

36mm, I assume. The dial is a bit roached and the case a little too polished for my taste, but it's still appealing overall and worth buying at the right price IMO. I have a ref 2639 (which is pretty similar to this reference) with a similar black dial and it's a nice watch to wear, although my wife has appropriated it.
