    Well, you know that dial is refinished (says so in the description). For a collector that's not desireable, but for the average buyer it might not matter so much. However, the case is quite polished, and imperfect, with a ding to the upper left lug, and corrosion under the case back. Personally, I would not consider this example; there are much better (and more original) ones out there, for less money.

    Not a military movement, actually a very common hand wind caliber.

    I think that ding may actually be a hallmark (Portugal delivery?), still an abused case.

    You can do much better, just be patient.

    Norm is absolutely right, but just to mention that there is nothing wrong with the 283 movement, either. It is a centre-second derivative of the 30 T2, which is a an absolute classic. I'm looking for a nice example myself :)
