1950s Seamaster - redial?

This just arrived in the post. Pics weren’t very clear.

On inspection I’m pretty sure it’s a redial, just wanted to check with the experts 😀

Sadly I think this one will be a return?

I think the lines on the minute track should extend the the edge of the circle, and the dots on 12,3,6 and 9 look clunky and the omega is too close to 12, but perhaps I am wrong.

"Seamaster" lettering is pretty wonky as well. The first "e" shouldn't connect with the "S" and the "r" decline is too steep.

I thought this was a bad redial. And then I saw this one which just sold on reddit. $650 apparently??

Did the seller clearly state that the dial was original?

Or was no mention made of the dial or its originality?

Do you have a link to the original sale post?
