1950's Rolex 16mm buckle

FS Rolex 16mm buckle. Not sure if stainless or sterling silver. On back side were it says Rolex is also stamped .925. Metal is soft so suspect sterling silver. I bought this awhile ago from a dealer and no use for it anymore.
