Hi you all

Guys I would like to share with you this time piece I inherited
Before I started thinking seriously in work on my own watches I was always curious about the Omega sing in this watch since I thougth it is kind of bold compare with other Omega watches I had have in my hands so I finally decided to look for some info about it
Looks like it was produced around 1947 ish according the serial number, gold plated and a 351 movement as far as I found in the web
Some pictures for your considerations, if any of you have an aditional information to share will be highly appreciated.

Actually gold filled case. Missing movement clamp screw, but movement held in place by bezel

Dial is refinished

movement held in place by bezel
Lots of old Geneve were designed that way.
Easy to damage the dial when serviced.

Interesting observation
I am wearing the watch at this moment and to me, an untrained eye the dial looks like untoched, could you tell me what I should look out for to find out dial is refinished
Thanks
