So I've been looking at getting my first vintage watch and I've been doing quite some reading. I've never come across a Fab Suisse, are these 'lower' than a Seamaster? I quite like the ageing of it but unsure if it's all original and I think it's likely to be over priced!

“Fab. Suisse” = Swiss Made.

At one time, this was required to be put on Swiss watches sold in France.

It is not a model name.

"Fab Suisse" is something you see on dials of watches imported into France

looks like a UK watch selling for GBP 549. Same one? If so, I feel the price is high

Yes, that's the one. I thought as much, shame as I like the look of this one

you might make them an offer and they might surprise you. At this price he won’t sell right away

What is a reasonable price for this? Does the rest look untouched?

I would see if he would consider £400 for local pickup and go from there
