·Today I am offering a beautiful 'jumbo' 30T2 from 1946.
Dial: As you can see from the dial, it has a great warmth. The original untouched dial has an even patina which is complimented beautifully by the mirrored numerals and original steel leaf hands that reflect the light and never fail to grab your attention.
Case: The 38mm (without crown) 'jumbo' case is a fantastic and unusually large sized case for this period (where the average case was around 32mm) making it much more comparable to modern size standards. It wears delightfully and has a lovely thin case. It may have seem some light hand polishing in the past, but the chamfers are still visible and the crown appears to be original too - demonstrating it's character as intended by its makers back almost 80 years ago!
Movement: The watch is running with no signs of any problems, but I do recommend a service as I have not had it serviced during my ownership. It is fitted with a 30T2 movement which is regarded by many vintage collector's as Omega's best movement of all time.
Strap: This case fits 20mm wide straps and will be supplied on a strap which the buyer can pick from my spares.
Box/papers: No box and papers.
