I have been given this watch. It runs 馃榾

I have a few questions that I would appreciate hekp with please:

- I don't know which calibre the watch is. It isn't stamped on the inside of the case back. Any thoughts?
- The watch needs a new watch crystal, as the existing one is broken. Any idea where I could get one of these? Part No. etc.
- The second hand is missing. Any idea where I could get one of these? Part No. etc.
- The watch face is slightly damaged. Should I get it restored? Any thoughts on who I could reach out to?
- What strap should I fit for the most authentic look?
- I haven't managed to find the watch face online. Is it an unusual watch?

Thanks & Regards Al

It is a 30t2sc calibre. I would use a generic low-dome plexy crystal that you can buy from cousins in the uk. Just measure the inner diameter of the bezel and add 0.2mm or measure the current crystal.
The case reference looks a bit like a ck2324. But i am not sure.
I have seen those arabic numerals a few times on different omega case references.
I don't think it is worth a redial and i would leave it as it is.

High dome - it鈥檚 a sweep second model. Low dome for small seconds

Watchmaker can order a generic crystal. Dial could already been refinished (like stripping the paint off a car and repainting). If you decide to go with that.

watchmaker would need to check to make sure the sweep pinion is not broken. Could still be available

before you have any work done. Get an estimate and ask here if reasonable. Like any business. Good and bad, so by letting us know. You save money by not over paying

also

don鈥檛 take it to any jewellery store unless they have a watchmaker on site. Otherwise. They鈥檒l just send it out and double the price of the repair

Any thoughts on finding a sweep hand? Thanks.

Jules Borel only lists 14.5 mm, but not sure if they measure end to tip or from the pinion hole to end

You need to measure from the center to just inside the minute markers to get a length.

Can buy a generic sweep hand as OEM will cost about $33.00 now

Looks like the upper balance jewel is cracked, so that will need to be attended to.
Best not to let the watch run, the cracked jewel could chew out the balance wheel pivot.
