Anyone interested in making an offer on this hard to find
1943 WWII US Army Air Force Pilot Watch?
I will listen to any offer
The entire case and crown are sterling silver unlike
those being cobbled together and sold on Ebay
These sterling silver cased watches were issued to officers in the early part
of the war and many were issued to pilots
There are no spots on the dial-those are shadows in my pictures
I have not seen a nicer dial on a WWII watch than this
Also, most WWII issued watches were made of chrome and steel
so most are brassed and beat up-mine is not, it is a nice example
and was serviced in 2014
If you want to add a WWII watch to your collection, this is
the one-the A 11 is the most famous of all-the watch that won the war
