Congrats Bill on buying a very cool and rare A11 Glad you were happy with your purchase Looks awesome on your wrist-Enjoy!
Nice piece. Same here. The more I get into vintage the more I get used to a 35mm watch as long as they have some good wrist presence.
Hi Agee thanks for selling it. Also sorry I could not buy the hammy diver ... glad you found a new home for it . Best bill ps I had the grey 16 mm long gemex strap for years wearing for a cool a11..
Wow, that's a nice watch Bill! Let me know if you would consider selling it at one point Kind regards Bo
Nice one Bill. I'm sure there were many 8" wristed Pilots and Bombardier Navigators who wore that "small" watch without any concerns at all.
If you're going to have an A11, it's about as beautiful an example as you're going to get. (I must admit I had to refrain myself when I saw it offered). Congrats to buyer and seller.
thanks Yea , been collecting for many years and let one slip they my fingers about 15 years ago . I just don't keep active searches for one , then one appeared before my eyes ! Can't remeber the last time I had real remorse when buying a watch , but I did have a few for not buying one! Good Huntibg Bill Sohne
don't think about its size.... think about its history and the men who wore it! The A11 was worn through some ugly times by some big men.... wear it with pride. my A17A and my UDT say hello.
Well then, can these join the party? more small issued watches for big heroes: Waltham A17 1956, Omega Air Ministry 1942 and LeCoultre A11 US Army Air Corps 1942.
