·Up for sale is a beautifully aged 31mm Omega watch from WWII with wartime applied radium dial.
Government issued and stamped 2165A CS (I) in the case-back
Stands for "Civilian Services for India"....
These watches were issued by the British Government for Military officers serving in civilian services in India who were strongly active in war on many fronts.
Watch has a screwback steel case with a 15 jewelled. Nickelled signed "Omega Swiss" bimetallic compensated balance wheel, keeping good time but not serviced by me.
Later 9 million serial dates it between 1939 and 1943 according to the database.
Beautiful radium aged dial with painted numbers and sub-seconds.
Stunning original blue steel hands with matching radium.
I am asking £325 for the watch. Can be sold with rare original bamboo bracelet for £50. I will include shipping to mainland UK. PayPal accepted.
