So, up for sale is this little 17.8 Omega. Case: SS, overall in fairly decent condition but it has been polished and it measures ~31mm. Movement: 17.8. It hasn’t been serviced while in my possession, but it’s keeping good time. I definitely recommend a visit to your watchmaker if you plan to wear this on a regular basis. Honestly, the watch is definitely not pristine, but will make a decent beater. Crystal: Good condition, but I believe it’s an aftermarket crystal. Dial: Looks kosher. EDIT: It seems to be an old redial. Crown: Not signed, but as far as I can tell, this is normal for 1940s 17.8s. Price: USD 350 + 35 shipping NOW USD 300 + shipping I will ship this watch to the US, Western Europe, Australia, Singapore, HK, Japan via EMS (tracked, usually 5-7 days to most places). I've sold some watches to other OF members and if you need any more pictures or any more info, just ask.
I am not certain if this comment is kosher but for the sake of the forum... I think that this dial has been redone.
@DirtyDozen12 -- the comment is certainly kosher. If this is the consensus I'll definitely withdraw the watch. Perhaps @gatorcpa might help?
I don't think you need to withdraw the listing, just amend the description and maybe price. I also favor (older) redial.
