Hi all.
Just wondering if anyone can provide me any info on watch this for me? Including approx value, and the best place to sell?
I don’t have much info, it was my grandfathers, it still runs, inside the back case a few dates have been etched in, I assume when it was serviced.
I’m also guessing about its vintage base on a website I found that gave me an estimated year from the serial number displayed on the movement.
And yes, there is a bit of visible wear and tear.
I’m in 2 minds about selling it. Yes it was my grandpas and there is some sentimental value, I don’t wear it and it seems a shame to leave it sitting in a cupboard when others may appreciate it more than myself.
Look forward to your comments.
Cheers.

For better or for worse, given the very small size and the poor overall condition, it has no significant value to anyone but yourself. So you might as well just hold onto it, and maybe someone will appreciate it in the future as an heirloom.

Thank you Dan.
I was feeling the same way.. my boys are a bit young yet, but maybe they will enjoy/appreciate it in the future.

Wow. I had been searching for a similar dial configuration and reference and saw your watch. It must be a very rare dial and may be worth trying to find a donor case and transfer the movement and dial. Let me know if you have found out more information since your post, but this is likely a pre-Officer CK2165 or predecessor reference.

Here’s mine - same dial typeface and hand styles:
