    Hi all

Just wondered what you thought about the below which I've been considering purchasing for a few days now.

I have a little experience with vintage timepieces, but it's definitely not something I'm confident in. Does this appear original or redialed at all? What sort of value would you place on something like this? It looks to have had a few services based on the case markings but I can't be certain.

    Best Regards,

    Tom

Thanks for reaching out. Appreciate the rough dial but I quite like the aged look. I think I misinterpreted the year - The link suggests 1946-1951, but the series number suggests between 1939-1944. Was it known for movements to be made prior to the case?

Yes. In some examples, as much as 5 years.

1939 30mm pieces should have serial numbers <9 million.
