1916 Omega, Looking for Replacement Loops and General Info

I've had this Omega a couple months now. I absolutely love it and ended up getting a wonderful WWI style strap for it. Which brings me to why I am here. Currently the watch is attached with some wire I found lying around. I searched all over online, went to the local jewelry store, and I couldn't find anything that looked like it would work. I've seen old pics of the watch with the OG loops attached, IDK why they're not there, but my homemade wire solution looks like shite. Also if anyone knows anything specific about this model I'd love to know more about it! Another question from a mechanical watch virgin, what would an average cost be to get taken to a jeweler if it loses time or breaks? Thanks for any info!

I have the same trench watch more or less. I'd also recommend getting it serviced if you haven't yet. As for lugs, well it will be quite difficult to wear based on the damage.

well looks like ill find out how much it is to service a watch a lot sooner than I wanted to find out. Woke up this morning, grabbed the watch off the dresser and my heart sinks. A giant crack! WTF, seriously! I've been so careful and overnight it just cracks itself? I'm baffled.

I was thinking of sending it into this website to have a sapphire glass put in and have the whole thing lubed up and whatever else they do to it. Has anyone had a watch serviced here? Or any recommendations on a reliable site to send it in? On an Omega repair page it was around $550 for a full service, is that a ballpark price I should expect? Honestly for $600 I could get a nice silver cased trench watch. But I really love the Roman Numerals on this one! Any advice welcome!
