Hi guys,

Do any of you know if Omega makes an adjustable clasp 18mm wide? I'd like one for my 42mm PO cal. 8500. I know they make one in 20mm, but I don't think it looks good with a wider clasp than bracelet.

Thanks!

As far as I know they don't.
The three versions of the adjustable clasp (4666, 1154 and 1159) are all 20mm, and I have not seen any other.

I don’t know any specific parts numbers, but someone is currently selling a Planet Ocean bracelets with an 18mm clasp that has been retrofitted:

One of those is the clasp that came with the Spectre watch (same as the 300 MC clasp, just different branding). That is definitely an 18mm clasp. So it looks like it is possible. I think you will lose the divers extension capability, though. So I think such a beast does exist. And I believe others have added 18mm adjustable clasps to their Speedmaster bracelets. You might want to search for some of those threads as well.

I think what the original poster means is he is wondering if Omega does a adjustable clasp where the clasp itself is 18mm in width and not 20mm to match the width of the bracelet taper.

The Spectre clasp is 20mm. It's a rebranded 1154, as it comes with the 300MC. The connecting links are indeed 18mm, but the clasp's outer shell is 20mm.

The Skyfall clasp is 18mm, it's a rebranded version of the standard PO8500 clasp, i.e. not adjustable.

Gotcha. I never measured the one on my 300MC bracelet, but I see that it is indeed 20mm wide. Visually, it looks narrower than the clasp on my SMP with, but I now see this is due to a wider chamfer.
