For sale is my 18kt gold Universal Geneve Medico-Compax, reference 12445, dating from 1951-52 according to serial number tables (serial #: 15359XX).

Dial: Twin-register dial with silver-coloured pulsation dial. Gold applied Arabic numerals for hour markers. “Swiss” appears below 6 o’clock. Note that there is a scratch between 10 and 11 and some wear around the edge of the dial. This is visible in the photos.

Hands: Blue choronograph and sub-dial hands, with gold stick hour and minute hands.

Pushers: Square, gold pushers function smoothly.

Crown: gold coloured un-signed crown - does not appear to be original to the watch, but the other Medico-Compax I’ve seen have featured unsigned crowns as well.

Movement: Freshly serviced, manual wind Universal Geneve cal. 285, column wheel chronograph movement.

Case: 35.5mm 18kt gold in very nice original condition. My watchmaker cleaned the watch but did not polish per my instructions. Gold hallmarks are visible on the side and interior of the caseback of the watch.

Returns: Not accepted unless clearly mis-represented. That said, I’m selling this watch as “serviced”, so if there are issues within a reasonable amount of time after receipt, I’m happy to take it up with the watchmaker who performed the work.

Price: $2,250USD net to me. Wiretransfer , PayPal (fees to be covered by the buyer) or cash-in-person accepted.

Some interest but nothing concrete - hoping to get this one moving as I’m traveling the rest of the month.

Back from traveling and looking to move this along (I’ve made a purchase 😗).

Big drop to $2,250USD including shipping in Canada/USA (actual cost of shipping for ROW).
