Hi All,

Can someone help me with this Omega Constellation please?

I inherited it from my dad who received it as a present from the late Lebanese prime minister long ago & I do not know how to get it's information or data.
I have it back home (that's not where I live) & cannot get it to the local Omega dealer where I live until few coming months.

it is a vintage one & I have doubts that it is a special order or custom made since the Omega people back home could not help me with it 7 the Omega people here in Dubai didn't find it in the system & recommended sending it to thei HQ in Switzerland
It is made of Platinum with diamonds.

Thanking you in advance for your kind help.

Regards,
Jamal

The 750 on the clasp indicates its white gold with diamonds which takes nothing away from this rare bird. It really needs and is worth an extract from the archives as everyone would be keen to see it.

Very nice indeed! I'm not sure I'd be brave enough to wear a diamond bezel watch but I do love the subtle decadence of white gold.

Welcome @Jabusamra

Unfortunately, whilst the Omega staff in Dubai are very friendly and like to see vintage Omegas, their default response is to send any vintage watches back to Bienne (even just to remove a link from a BOR bracelet. )

Your white gold C-case is stunning, if a little too bling for current tastes, with the diamond bezel.

The watch looks to be in good condition but needs a service if it’s changing the date at 3.35 - and I’d be tempted to find a recommended/trusted independent watchmaker rather than risk what Omega might do to the watch.

Hi Jamal , the watch is fully original, and the diamond bezel is after market , but absolutely a rare bird , we see the yellow gold regularly the white gold rarer., if the watch works properly don’t do anything , but looks clean , in the event you want to get them serviced and slightly polished to have it like new this can easily doable by Omega HQ, the price is an equivalent of 650 CHF, when you go to the Omega Boutique fill-up the service paper and in the comments :

full service movement, glass change , hands change , light polishing ( if willed) , old hands in a case back , the movements parts will be in a small bag returned.

and that it , if you need assistance let me know

Interesting. Will Omega service a watch with aftermarket parts? Rolex would not.

I would not be so quick to assume the bezel is aftermarket at all, I’ve seen four other examples of this white gold C-Case with the same diamond bezel and Omega did offer diamond indices and bezels on Grand Luxe Constellations in both the 50s and 60s as a factory option. The last two that popped up had bezels that looked identical to this one but were both sans brick-work bracelet and just on a strap or on Milanese bracelet.

My appologies for that I got the same models without and due to the crystal height and no clip to add a bezel I said aftermarket , looks like some glue make the work also.

Yes, although they may require the watch to be put back to original condition.
