It was a little more than that when I enquired - £1200 from STS in UK.

Remember it will be the modern DN90 bezel, not the vintage layout.

Both the burgundy and black versions in 18k gold should be available but as @Spacefruit notes they will be modern DN90.
Although I am not sure if the 69 came out with the black bezel.

On a -69 BA you have to have the burgundy one and the DN bezel looks also good as you can see on the pic.

Really? Surprising and different from what I have been told by several (Omega) sources. Does it have a price tag?

For a massive golden dial??? That's exactly the same quote I got from my watch maker when I asked for it. Not believing this, I asked him to send me a picture of the dial in question that Omega proposed. This is what I got back:
    Dial.jpg

Not exactly same is it? But if you are sure about your information, I think I know a few people who would like to order it.

The dial I am looking at is not like the silver one you show.

    064MA1472503 | DIAL GILT YELL.IND.C.0861SPEED

    000 MATERIAL : UNDEFINED
    BACKGROUND COLOUR : Yellow
    COLLECTION : Speedmaster
    Caliber : 861

I'm sure that the Omega Extranet calls up this dial for the BA 145022....

Yes, I'm more than ready to believe that when it comes from you but that still doesn't mean it's the same dial. As I stated, I received similar quote (unfortunately didn't get the part number) but the original dial is massive gold. It's same story for the crown, you can still order one (I did) but in the end you receive a gold plated one instead of a full golden one. Only for €40 but still, not the same thing.
Would you happen to have any picture of the dial you are refering to?
With all respect, I am not arguing that you may have it wrong. I would love to see you right in this to be honest!

I've given you the information that I can. The dial is gold background as noted above with applied markers.

I've not said it is the EXACT same dial, but that there is a dial for this model available. Just like the crown and other parts are available, but as we all know replacement parts are not always the same.

I'm very much intrigued. To tell the truth, I sold my BA less than 2 weeks ago because the dial of my watch was slightly damaged by the most recent service. Since dial quality heavily influences the value of the watch, especially on a golden dial that shows barely any patina, I decided to let go of the watch. Despite the great case condition (possibly never polished) and very good bracelet without stretch and an original bezel with minor traces, it was just not collector's condition because of that dial! If it now turns out I was wrongly informed, it would mean this was not my smartest move ever. Maybe someone else has a picture or more info on the service dial 064MA1472503?
Trying to learn here, even if it's the hard way....
