Sorry to hear about the crystal but I think you are very lucky in hindsight, the cheapest part of the watch saved the watch, if it landed on a lug it would've been devastating

… but I believe the .004 and .010 are officially 35mm and are not ‘jumbo’ Constellations. ( no matter what some unscrupulous dealers might like to say)

However, the dial most definitely does look bigger than a ‘standard’ 34.5mm Constellation because of the bezel / dial arrangement.
The ref 168.004 in real life looks definitely bigger than other 35mm Connies.
Here are 3 refs side by side in comparison.

I agree - the earlier Constellations are officially 34.5mm rather than 35mm.
However, the ‘hidden crown’ Constellations look bigger than their 0.5mm actual difference in size.
