Either the value of gold and refinished dials have increased substantially or I want what he's smoking. https://forums.watchuseek.com/f29/f...nt-condition-just-fully-serviced-5158225.html

There’s been some idiotic pricing around for a while

Is that an Omega or a Qmega?

I'm not usually too keen on date features, but have long really liked the '50s Seamasters with date at 6 o'clock. Always like solid gold watches too.

So, why does that one have to be such an offense to the eye and and offense to the pocketbook as well?

"Dial: silver dial (professionally refinished) with arrow hour markers;"

Refinished by who?

His gardener?

True, but this is a well known seller, not some sheister on eBay. I guess this is one of the reasons I don't see his listings on OF anymore.

Has the date wheel been redialed as well? If so, that's "perfection" at it's finest.

I believe the watch is worth the total of the price reduction.

You aren't the only one who has commented on this particular seller. 🤦

I know, but I didn't feel like looking for the thread to link it. He used to sell okay quality items but now appears to have moved into the redialing business.

$2090 for the watch plus $200 for a correct dial...what a deal.

Never fear, the price will drop on the first anniversary of the listing.
