Original patinated dial with a subtle two-tone effect featuring applied Arabic numerals and multi-faceted pointed tip figures with applied Omega symbol, all in 18K rose gold as are the original dauphin hands. The original signed low dome crystal is free of cracks or flaws. 18K SOLID ROSE gold case with classic fat lugs, fitted with a NOS vintage signed rose gold crown (slightly different tone), the SEAMASTER and WATERPROOF markings on the back are still clearly visible. Based on the condition of the back I don't believe the case has been polished, but the lugs have softened from honest use. There is also some wear to the inside the lugs (from a bracelet?). Not a show piece but a very wearable classic solid gold Seamaster. Bright clean 20-jewel caliber 501 rotor wind automatic movement, winds and sets smoothly, running well and is keeping good time. Serial number dates this one to ca 1957. Service history unknown. Size: 34.4-mm excluding the signed crown x 42-mm, with 18mm lugs.
