I got two vintage Omega watches in my and looking for the estimated value of them. Not really wanting to sell them, just curious about their value.
First one is a Seamaster Cosmic 2000 automatic with date only. I don't think it's gold but goldplated. I'll attach a pic of it.
The second one is a golden Constellation megaquartz with solid golden bracelet. Still in its original leather box. omega1.jpg omega1.jpg omega2.jpg

The first watch not that high, couple of hundred USD most likely, the second watch is very cool, stardust dial 2.4Mhz megaquartz's are very uncommon, and with the box too is impressive.

So is the megaquartz solid 18K gold? How much does it weigh?

    Thanks for the quick reply!
Yes, both the megaquartz watch and the bracelet are solid 18K gold, the weight is about 250 grams.

OK, WOW... basically the first watch is a bit ordinary, wear it or give it away, the stardust solid gold megaquartz 2.4 is seriously rare and desirable, I'd go as far as to say its the best quartz watch Omega made. Could you please take as many detailed photos of that watch as you can for us, high resolution and post them up, different angles on the dial, bracelet, caseback, and everything? We'd love to see more pics of that!

Thanks again, I'll wear the first one myself as a daily watch.
I'll add some more pics of the megaquartz one, for the time being it's the best I can do. My wife took my reflex camera to her work, but it will give an idea of the watch. It was originally sold to a dealer in Finland. omega3.jpg omega4.jpg omega5.jpg omega6.jpg omega7.jpg omega8.jpg omega9.jpg omega10.jpg

Beautiful piece mate, so were you the original owner, or how did you get such a thing? The total number of these made from memory was 100-200 in total, and the price was insane new.

This watch was bought by my mother's second husband, in Finland. Years ago he suffered from a stroke and he wanted me to have this watch if he died. So I became the lawful owner of this piece and have been keeping it for a few years now, hardly ever wearing it.
