    This sale is for a Audemars Piguet with a rare caliber VZSSc. These were made in small number in the 1940's and perhaps early 1950's and were adjusted to positions and temperature, with a beautifully done microregulator.

    Although I don't like using the word "Calatrava", I just can't help myself in this instance. It's a timeless and understated beauty.

    Also, at 35mm, it's a bit larger than other manual winds of the day.

    Winds and runs smoothly, though a service is in order.
