Hard to tell what the actual market value for these is but I don't think he's far off.
WTH??? does he go to japan if somebody buys from there? Thats is crazy and interesting i really want to ask him
Respectable Member sumerian Probably. Since he does not mention, who pays for his plane-fare plus the 5-star hotel, he is going to stay-in. Thank-you.
I'll never understand tool watches made of gold. Never bought a wrench, hammer, or screwdriver made of anything but steel so why should a tool watch be different?
Respectable Member ulackfocus .... and so is, DrStrong. http://rolex.watchprosite.com/show-nblog.post/ti-622921/ Thank-you.
I'm in favor of gold tool watches, they're never used as tools anyway, and watches like the Speedmaster and Daytona do look really great in 18K.
Respectable Member dsio Apart from Rolex with its Submariner and Daytona, as well as Omega with its Speedmaster, who else has produced tool watches in 18k solid gold and are they desirable, from a collector's point of view? Thank-you.
All these are available in black & rose/red gold and they're all great looking watches: Blancain Fifty Fathoms Vacheron Constanin Overseas Breguet Marine I like black & red gold, but I'd never own one of the above. Dress watches are precious metal, not tool watches.
I would honestly buy an 116528 18K YG Daytona white dial if it weren't for the constant stream of awesome watches that pop up every week.
